"Really, really nice place. I booked the dorm room and was the only one staying at the hostel so effectively it was a private room. Each bed is very comfortable, with a privacy curtain, reading light and plug socket. Towels are included too. The showers were good with really hot water, which was great during the cold weather. Hostel has a great terrace area with great coffee and other drinks available. Kitchen and free water available for all guests too. Really welcoming and hospitable staff and great WiFi."

"New hostel in the heart of Kruje, we stayed in the private room which was huge, had a comfy bed and a window with a great view. The rooftop has a great view out to Tirana, and was popular with locals popping in for coffees. The coffee is cheap and tasty and the staff were friendly. The location is across the road from Kruje's supermarket Big Market, as well as bakeries and fruit and veg shops. It's also a short 5 / 10 minute walk to the centre, bazaar and castle. Cleanliness was a 10/10 - We stayed here for three nights and the facilities and kitchen was cleaned every day. Would be happy to stay here again!"

"The hostel is a new venture and working progress but this was reflected in the price. For instance, our room listed that it had a balcony. The balcony had no railings, was high up and was unsafe to hang out on (definitely something that needs sorting out - if it's not already on their list!). Even during our stay, they were fitting in AC units, rearranging furniture in the kitchen and working on improving the hostel so I'm sure this place will only get better as time goes on! However for the size of the room, and quality of the bed - it was very cheap and makes a great base for a budget friendly backpacker exploring the area for a few days. Thanks so much!"

"Backpacker Hostel Kruya is, without a doubt, the best hostel I've ever stayed at. It boasts crisp white, fluffy towels and sheets, a well-balanced breakfast, and a premium hotel-style shower head. But above all, the beautiful view from the spacious rooftop terrace is simply breathtaking. Adding to all of this is the incredible hospitality of the owner. His attentiveness and consideration for every guest were truly like that of a manager at a luxury hotel. I also really enjoyed the beautiful and peaceful town of Kruja. I definitely want to come back to this hostel again .I highly recommend this experience to all backpackers"
