"Everything was very clean, the place is cozy and it has a lot of space and common areas. What made the stay so special was definitely the help and energy of the two volunteers, Gulsum and Ben. The breakfast is also included!"

"It was a little hard to find and access. Specially if you're not in a car. You will have to walk for a few minutes from the bus station. Not a big problem unless you have a backpack and a carryon and like me"

"Spent a few weeks in September/October during my Balkan trip this year. Chilled hostel vibes, clean and cozy common areas, and a great mix of travellers and volunteers. Easy place to slow down, cook together and enjoy the coastline."

"The breakfast included in the price was amaizing: a lot of fresh tasty products. It's a clean hostel, if u are an extrovert u can socialise very easy with the volunteers, if u are a digital nomad there's plenty of space to work. ON TOP: FOR ANIMAL LOVERS. 2 LOVELY DOGS AND SO MANY CATS ROAMING AROUND. GOD BLESS THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE FOR TAKING CARE OF THESE ANIMALS."

"The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hostel had a great social vibe even though I was there during the shoulder season. The location is also great being a close walk to the beach or to the shops."

"The showers for the 10 person dorm could use better lighting. Only the middle stall is properly lit. There also isn't any luggage storage space for the 10 person dorm so if the place is full, bags would be all over the floor."

"Super social and beautiful place. I'm really happy about my stay in Himara Hostel. The volunteers are lovely and they always make sure that everything is ok. I haven't had this experience in a while in a hostel. It's super easy to get a long with other travellers and do some activities together. Besides that it's very clean and well located. Thank you."

"Great location, super clean hostel, tasty breakfast, chilled vibe, cozy beds, lovely cats and dogs, well equipped kitchen and amazing staff! Thanks everyone for this unforgettable week, I had an amazing time and everyone in the hostel just kept extending. When coming back to Himara I would never consider going to another hostel than this!"

"It would be a big plus if there were curtains and small lamps at each bed. As we were not so lucky with the weather, it would be great to have a chill area where you can hide from the wind."

"Hostel Himare was an incredible experience! The atmosphere is super friendly, sociable, and kind, everyone is just so nice. Everything was spotless. If you’re looking to connect with people and feel part of a family, this is the right place. The garden is beautiful and huge, offering spaces to be alone, socialize, or just chill. I stayed in the 10-bed dorm, and it was perfect — super clean, comfortable, and with plenty of privacy. All the staff were wonderful, and we even had an amazing show at the hostel thanks to the wonderful musician volunteers. I’d love to come back here again and highly recommend it!"
