Only one functioning elevator. Location and elevator can be difficult to find. Check-in instructions could be more descriptive. There are no signs for the apartment suites on the ground floor. The elevator is on the right passage as you walk inside the building. The reception is on the 14th floor.

Рядом рифы с огромным количеством местных рыбок разного размера и цвета, поэтому берите с собой маску. Мы жили в Garden vew - это отдельный от основгого отеля guest house на 5 номеров с частной территорией - вход по чипу. Пляж, ресторан находятся на основной территории отеля (Laguna view), где имеется 22 номера. Они естественно дороже. От garden view до laguna view метров 400 по прямой. Так что мы хоть 1000 шагов за день наматывали, а то и 100 не выходило бы ))) Вечером к причалу приплывают акулы няньки и рифовые акулы - отель их кормит каждый вечер."

Мы брали полный пансион. Завтраки были печальные. Из белка только омлет с овощами и через раз сосиски. В обед не швецкий стол, а отель сам дает то, что готовят в данный день. Не нравится - заказывай из платного меню: 2е блюдо + сок выходит 15-20$ на человека. На ужин макароны+рис и мясо+рыба. 1 салат и 1 вид фруктов. Наверное для Мальдив это нормально - не знаю.

Es liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einen eigenen Parkplatz, so dass eine Parkplatzsuche nicht notwendig ist. Nahezu direkt unter dem Appartement befinden sich ein ganz kleiner Laden, in dem man das Nötigste (z.B. Getränke) erhält. Ein paar Meter weiter befinden sich eine Apotheke und eine Möglichkeit für Geldwechsel. Auch der Markt für frisches Obst und Gemüse ist nicht weit entfernt. Das Appartement selbst ist wunderschön. "A very nice and well equipped apartment on the 8th floor. The young lady who represented the owners was very helpful and nice about everything. The lady who was responsible for cleaning did a superb job."

As I have a problem with a leg I wrote the owners beforehand to be assured that access to the apartment was easy and was informed that it was, however, when we arrived it turned out that we first had to access one building and take a lift four floors and then walk a bit to access the building with the apartment. It should also be mentioned that there was a problem with the lock on the door leading out to the street, and it was often difficult to open from the outside. For the first three nights we were assigned an other apartment one floor below that was not up to standard at all. We were, however granted a discount for the inconvenience. We had not been informed about this beforehand. The television in the apartment did not work, and was not fixed during our stay. The apartment was on the eight floor and there was no sign for emergency exit on the floor. The owners lived in Italy and all contact with them was through the young lady representing them in Mindelo.

"Lovely double aspect room with lots of sunshine coming into the room. Loved the balcony - but could be a problem in the height of the season as it would have been overlooked if the rooms near ours was occupied as their balconies were very close. I would have loved to use the swimming pool if it had been heated, but being that our stay was in March the water was too cold."

The description of the location was a little misleading as one of the pubs mentioned had closed down - some years ago, but the details had not been amended on the website - which did in fact influence our choice in Sandpiper’s favour, and we were disappointed that it wasn’t nearer the supermarket mentioned in the write-up, either. Also, I put my suitcase in the corner of the bedroom flat - and when I moved it, I could see it had picked up a lot of dust, indicating that the corners of the bedroom weren’t very well cleaned!

"Borel is exception in my opinion, i have visited the property two times and enjoyed my stay each time. The location is perfect if you are looking for a place to rest, privacy, good security and comfort. Bonamousadi market is not far from the residence, very easy to get into the city if you want to."

From my experience, alot has improved. The internet speed is far better, reaction time for is very good, and the staffs are true human in their interaction with me. I think they have mastered the act of hospitality. I will visit again in my next trip.
