Nach der Bitumen mußten wir ungefähr 500m in einer nicht bitumierte Straße. Leider sind nicht alle Straßen in Yaoundé mit Bitumen

"Close 5 min drive to beautiful beach and a nice restaurant. Nice drive from main road and calm area. Large rooms and good setup"

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

quite a distance from city (we had a hire car, so no big issue for us)

"We liked the location and the view. We liked the kitchen, and the comfy beds. It was quiet. And we liked the view (Yes, I´m repeating it!)."

Only 1 bathroom on the main floor and bedrooms on a different floor (yes, I knew it when I booked it, but it deserves mentioned as this apperas to be a general problem everywhere in Norway). Wifi did not work, even after calling the owner. We had to call and then mess around to get the heating to work in one room. There was parking but the host suggested that we park down by the street -- DOWN the hill, in the pouring rain. There should be better organized and marked parking spots per apartment (There are 3 at the location, sharing parking).

Camere, ambienti comuni interni e giardino sono molto curati, la pulizia impeccabile. Io sono vegana e a colazione mi sono sentita più che accolta. The single bed was not comfortable (on one side I was feeling that I was sinking). The A/C wasn't working because the remote control was missing. I contacted the host, he said that he will take care of it, but he did not. To be honest, it wasn't so hot and for most days I did not need the A/C. However, for the last few days of my stay I could really use the A/C, especially at night. The shared fridge could be cleaner. The bathroom did not have a window, it only had a kind of fan on the ceiling which did not work particularly well. As a result, some unpleasant odors persisted and the waters caused by showering could not evaporate very quickly.

"Location near the sea and grocery store. Found also a home bakery nearby. Beautiful, a bit rustic town under pine trees. Sandy beach and lot of quiet streets to discover. Appartment was warm, nice, and had all the basic things. Lovely yard."

There was no bed sheet for the second bed (sofa), and when we opened the sofa, there was sand from the previous visitors. The hosts reacted to our request and it was cleaned. Some other tiny issues - only 2 mugs in the cupboard (4 glasses), and the 3rd cup was found on the floor of shower room. We missed washing up liquid and kitchen towels too.

"Key cards for the lockers at the chair lift station. Grocery shop on the base floor. Room for ski and boots."

"Very nice hotel, it was very clean and comfortable. The tiny balcony was a plus for me and the people where so nice and friendly."

The location was not perfect for me, I ended up renting a scooter which I highly recommend.

Disadvantages i============ • No breakfast • No AC but it wasn't an issue since we came on Sep • Stairs and no elevator but only 1 floor • Diminished lighting in room * No light in the parking entrance is very dark at night

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . Ps look after Max well we will return ."
