"We absolutely loved our stay in Flanders Fields! The location is simply perfect—so peaceful and unique. It's just a short distance from World War I memorial sites and some charming restaurants, which was a delightful bonus. The attention to detail in the house is truly impressive, and we found the bathroom to be just perfect. It's an ideal spot for a couple looking to relax. Plus, the landlord was so friendly and helpful while respecting our privacy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I will be back to explore more about the history of WW1."
"There’s a net over the big front window in the dining room, probably to help with the glare and heat. However, the tall grasses are blocking the beautiful view of the lake, which I was really disappointed! I totally understand that the owners need their privacy since they live so close by, but it is a bit disappointing that our back window is covered with such a light sheet. I can only imagine how lovely the view would have been! By the way, their house behind us is absolutely stunning and has such a peaceful vibe!"
"Absoltely everything was perfect. The place overcomes the expectations. The building is renovated with a lot of taste. At the same time there is absolutely everything you need on holiday stay. The location is perfect, in Flanders fields, very quiet and peacefull place today, close to all the WW1 Flanders memorial places and the seaside. It was absolutely perfect stay."

"This is such a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we arrived we received a warm welcome from the owner, who explained where things are and how things work. The attention to detail is exceptional. There was everything we needed and more. It was extremely clean and tidy, all the towels and linens had a beautiful smell. The bed is very comfortable. The views and area are fantastic, it is so peaceful. As a family we needed somewhere to relax and this was the perfect place. The closest shop is roughly a 5 minute drive and some nice restaurants in the area too! We simply loved it! We cannot wait to come back again."

"Droombestemming, vooral door de rust én de stilte... Vriendelijke uitbaaters.... Het huisje is voorzien van alle comfort ( bv tv boven én beneden, wc boven én beneden, airco boven, tuinmeubelen buiten , goed bed, ruime woonkamer enz. ) Grote tuin én twee vijvers aanwezig... Mooi ingericht huisje én diervriendelijk... Onze hond heeft ook genoten, ook al is hij in de vijver beland.... Een adresje om terug te keren...."

"We had the large bedroom at the front of the property which was very spacious and well appointed. Delicious breakfast with all fresh produce and many homemade by the owner. Fab, quiet location just outside town which has many places to eat in. Owner is very attentive and even moved his car so we could park a large van. Highly recommend to all and if we are ever back in the area would will be staying again. Claire x"
