"The nice building. The location within Pictou, very convenient. The view from the room. The very good bed. The dining room has a lot of character. Our hosts were very nice and cheerful :)"
"- the breakfast was a bit short, with no eggs, no meat, no fish, no fruit. A little bit of cereals, and yes, a beautiful croissant (I cannot eat butter, so not for me). - Be prepared to haul your bags upstairs."
"My stay was perfect , room was clean comfy and warm . Cathy the hostess was a true character . If I'm back in area I would be sure to book in again . Thanks Hamish"

"It was a lovely bed and breakfast, close to the town centre. Rooms were very well thought out. Bed was pretty high to get into (we are reasonably tall people). Breakfast was very good."

"Excellent location; walking distance to the Pictou waterfront attractions. Nice to have an attached parking lot. Our host was super friendly and quite the character. Breakfast was an "event", with freshly prepared, tasty food and pleasant conversation with the other guests. Our room was cozy and comfortable."
"Having our room on the top floor meant bringing our bags up a few flights of stairs, although the host offered his help with this."
"Beautiful decor. The b&b has been very tastefully furnished and is spotlessly clean. Also liked the chance to talk to all the other guests while we were enjoying a free apéro on the terrace."
"The shower was a tiny plastic cubicle. This really let down the rest of the beautiful room. We managed the stairs but they could prove a problem for some guests."
"The breakfast was great and Sandy and Kathy made it a wonderful experience. They were great hosts."
"Don’t be put off by the outside appearance. It’s awesome on the inside."
"This is a well preserved historical building, beautifully furnished and with private parking. The host is very friendly, fun and helpful. He gave us a lot of useful infos too. Finally: the breakfast - served in a beautiful room - was delicious and most important healthy."
