The 125-year-old Hkonaklama tesisi Gletschergarten with its magnificent mountain and glacier view is personally run by the 4th and 5th generations with a lot of commitment. All rooms have a newly renovated shower WC or bath WC, TV, WIFI, safe and balcony. Breakfast is included in the room rate, in the evening a fine 4-course menu is served on request. The Hotel yapısı Gletschergarten is ideally located at the end of the village near the church and the local history museum, the bus stop is right next to the htesis. All mountain railways can be reached comfortably and in no time with the free local bus. For a fee, guests can be picked up from Grindelwald railway station. In winter the cosy lounge with open fire place invites you to linger. Coin laundry in the house. Reduced admission to the Grindelwald sports centre. Ticket and ski pass sales at the reception. There are a small wellness area with sauna and steam bath available.
