"Was great staying at Shirin Ethno house, super friendly people & great homemade food."

"Oda geniş, ferah, sıcaklığı iyi bir odaydı. Sauna kullanımı kolaydı. Kahvaltısı gayet güzel ve yeterliydi. İsteklerimizi ellerinden geldiğince karşılamaya çalıştılar. Kızıma minik bir oyuncak bile hediye ettiler. Kızım için hazırladıkları yatak geleneksel ve çok tatlıydı. Zevkle döşenmiş bir ev ve restauranttı."

Anahtarlarını çözemedik, uzun süre kilitlemek için uğraştık, bizim ülkemizdeki anahtarlar gibi değildi, keşke bunlar anlatılsaydı. Saç kurutma makinesi ve klima kumandası yoktu. Geç check-in yapacağımızı bildirdik, konum ve oda bilgileri tarafımıza gönderilmedi, mesajlarımıza dönüş sağlanmadı. En son aradığımızda neyse ki ulaştık.

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"Everything was excellent, good stuff. Clean and comfortable room. The room had air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. If you want to relax in a quiet place with good nature, with good housewives, I recommend this house. I think next year I will definitely come again."

Nothing much to mention. There can be an issue with other guests - if they are loud or smoke. But it’s negotiable

"What a beautiful location on a few kms outside Amsterdam. The owners are super friendly and helped us plan our visits in the area. A working milking farm, it was amazing to wake up each morning to the sound of cattle and ducks. A beautiful experience."

A small table or something to sit at would be nice in case you want to play cards, etc.

"This is not a standard hotel or gite or whatever, this is a special place. Expect no luxury here, this is not what Karims guesthouse is about. It is about being in a small village and in nature. Basically, this is as close to a home stay as you can book on Booking. You can choose a room or the stilted house (recommended) in a garden full of interesting plants. Your water comes from a well or the river, your coffee directly from the bushes around you, and the food from...actually I don't know where, but it is amazing. One of the Kpime waterfalls is just a short, but nice walk away, and you can roam the village or take a long walk to Yikpa waterfall (~4 h one way). And when you come back, you lay in a hammock with a fresh and local cocoa or sit in the garden. And the best, you don't need to be in Kpalime, with all the chaos, noise, and smells. Although it is something different, I really enjoyed my stay. Karim is a fantastic host and La montagne verde exactly my type of stay."

Just be aware what you are booking, and there is nothing negative about it.

Accueil très rapide, aucune information, pas de code wifi. Pas possible de se baigner dans la piscine, le robot était dedans durant notre séjour. Salle d'eau pas très propre. Manque des rideaux occultants pour ne pas être réveillé par le jour Tiroir cassé Très peu de vaisselle, pas de torchon de cuisine

"The accommodation was very nice. My moto-friend and myself used the fridge to store some food, locally bought in the supermarket. There as no front/backyard to park motorbikes. We however parked in front of the house. We felt confident to park them outside. Nice Mountain view from the balcony."

Some more kitchenware would’ve been nice. Not much soundproofed but it was silent in the evening in the house; Only some youths outside parading their tuned cars up and down the road.

"The owners were like family and nothing was a problem. They even drove us to the bus station which was some 12 kilometers away."

It was private away from the centre of Vevchani. It felt very homely. We were there in winter and it was great and in summer it would be even better.
