"Beautiful setting amongst lush vegetation. Fantastic rooms and bungalows with a wooden construction and lovingly updated for tourism. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Quiet location, but either a 10-15minute walk to Chethy beach, which is huge and deserted or a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride to Marari beach where there are more snack shacks and facilities."

Would have liked a kettle to make tea/coffee and a fridge, but don’t let that minor detail put you off…it’s beautiful.

"This is very peaceful independent house. The atmosphere was really good. Owner picked me up and drop me off when I checked in and checked out. It is far away from the town, but local buses are running regularly. Easy to catch them."

The road to the house was not easy to walk when it gets raining. Dry season should be ok though.

Especially pleasant to spend evenings on the terrace, enjoying the sunset and clean mountain AIR. The location of the cottage proved ideal — away from city noise. "The home is in great shape and is easily accessible. Check-in and check-out was well laid out in advance. We enjoyed using the kitchen to cook meals and store drinks during our stay. Having the AC in the room was a life-saver!"

Some basic kitchen amenities like paper towels and trash bags were not provided or incorrectly sized. Trash bins (inside and outside) were sometimes over-full due to the nature of the shared space.

"Everything, location, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast. The people here are outstanding. We booked our hiking tour to Petra thru Dana Village Lodge , Ramzi and Hamza take care of everything and organise your entire holiday for you. I would highly recommend staying here and going on tour with Hamza and Camel and all the locals there. They are such amazing, generous, and thoughtful people"

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

For us, it was perfect.

The location was at the foot of the hill, which was a bit disappointing. The uphill walk did not get me much higher and I could not progress further along that path.

"Oda geniş, ferah, sıcaklığı iyi bir odaydı. Sauna kullanımı kolaydı. Kahvaltısı gayet güzel ve yeterliydi. İsteklerimizi ellerinden geldiğince karşılamaya çalıştılar. Kızıma minik bir oyuncak bile hediye ettiler. Kızım için hazırladıkları yatak geleneksel ve çok tatlıydı. Zevkle döşenmiş bir ev ve restauranttı."

Anahtarlarını çözemedik, uzun süre kilitlemek için uğraştık, bizim ülkemizdeki anahtarlar gibi değildi, keşke bunlar anlatılsaydı. Saç kurutma makinesi ve klima kumandası yoktu. Geç check-in yapacağımızı bildirdik, konum ve oda bilgileri tarafımıza gönderilmedi, mesajlarımıza dönüş sağlanmadı. En son aradığımızda neyse ki ulaştık.

Some more kitchenware would’ve been nice. Not much soundproofed but it was silent in the evening in the house; Only some youths outside parading their tuned cars up and down the road.

"Everything was excellent, good stuff. Clean and comfortable room. The room had air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. If you want to relax in a quiet place with good nature, with good housewives, I recommend this house. I think next year I will definitely come again."
