"The hostess was so kind, she offers breakfast in the morning, she allowed me to have a shower before my flight at night although I had already checked out which I really appreciated."

"1. Good value for money 2. The owner is super nice and takes care of people! I left the accommodation around 06:00 AM, she woke up early to cook coffee and prepare simple breakfast for me. 3. Cozy place! I met great people there! Olivia helped me to communicate with owner ( I speak 0% Spanish….)"

"Very friendly hostess always ready to help. I liked the breakfast (it is included in the stay). Excellent value for money. I liked the neighborhood: it is generally safe and quiet, unlike the city center. Walking distance to bakery and grocery stores. There is a bus stop very close to the place (buses go to the city center). I definitely will stay at the Casa Kitus next time."

"Todas las estrellas muy merecidas. Un lugar cómodo, tranquilo y acogedor, perfecto para descansar. Las camas son súper cómodas y todo está pensado para que uno se sienta como en casa. La dueña es un amor de persona, siempre atenta y amable, incluso nos consentía en el desayuno con gallo pinto y huevo recién hechos, sin duda volveremos en otro viaje por la capital"

"The host david was brilliant. excellent communication, lovely room with AC and huge shower and free secure parking. The pool was amazing. property is 2 min walk from the beach. restaurant next door and shop 2min away. I saw macaws, toucans, monkeys and lizards within a 5min walk from the property. breakfast was huge and very nutricious"

"The location was phenomenal. The veranda out side the room had a good view, was sheltered from the sun and a pleasant place to sit. The Hotel is set amongst forest and almost on the beach. The wildlife comes to you. The swimming pool has seen better days but it’s in a very special location and the capuchin monkeys regularly visit to hang out with their family. The beach is totally amazing. Manuel Antonio is only a 10 minute jaunt along the beach. This hotel is an experience in itself. Well worth a visit."

"This is my second stay in this apartments, they are pretty comfortable. The cost-value is also very good; I highly recommend it. It's important to contact the owner a few days before the check-in due there is not a front desk and you must have Wi-Fi, as all communication is via WhatsApp."

"Communication with the host was super nice. We've had some food poisoning issues and had to change our check in plans but nothing seemed to be a problem. Amazing garden full of trees, fruits, herbs and birds. Comfy outside seating, fans. Every detail seemingly thought through. Spacious inside, new bed and the best sleep we've had so far in Costa Rica. Quiet neighbourhood, but still easy to access Puerto Jimenez, nearby beaches (Playa Preciosa!). Janina and Josh gave us some great tips and Janina facilitated the Corcovado La Sirena daytrip for us (must do!). They also run a dog rescue and we had the pleasure of sharing the garden with 2 awesome doggies. Both were very mellow and made our departure the harder. We ended up prolonging our stay and would stay longer if that were possible. Small piece of paradise."
