"I love how nice the staff were and the fact that they cleaned daily. The scenery was great, it was relaxing to wake up to the sound of a river and birds chirping. The AC in the room was great for those hot nights. I enjoyed my stay."

"I do not eat Chinese food so having that as my only option for meals wasn't ideal. Added to that, options to eat out were very limited. No supermarket or mini mart in the area so I could cook on my own."

"The apartment is very well equipped and clean everyday. Very comfortable and quiet with the river next to the building."

"Our 2nd stay at this hotel. Came here as an stay due to an emergency visit for a funeral. The place was as before with a great view of the river and it’s wonderful peaceful and soothing sound. The staff were great especially if there was an issue it would be solved very speedily. Valda was extremely attentive, as with the other staff, but she when the extra mile to make sure our stay was comfortable. She fixed the TV and sliding door, stopped the window from shaking. Truly going beyond the call of duty as a receptionist. The rest of the team from reception, housekeeping, security and maintenance were all great. Thank you all so much which made a sad visit a very pleasant stay. God bless you all."

"There are a lot of stairs to our accommodation, so if you have any mobility issues, please ensure you mention when booking. A suggestion to the hotel that some outside furniture would be a bonus to enjoy breakfast outside in the mornings."

"It was like the inside of the forest though the location was not far at all from the downtown center. And the room was good with balcony and water streaming sound from the creek. Overall it was a good healing place."

"From the airport to the hotel was almost narrow mountain road, an hour drive."

"Nice little balcony overlooking river. Two comfortable beds. Lots of choice for evening meals, loved the Chinese and Thai choices. Friendly staff. They organised car hire for us."

"Although they organised a taxi to meet us at the airport it didn't come. Luckily another driver was able to bring us. They told us the car hire should accept credit cards so when cash was needed this caused a problem for us . We should have brought more us dollars cash. In the room we had a large sofa but very low, so not so comfortable for us. Also the info had suggested a garden but there is no garden at all."

"We had a great holiday in Dominica, partly due to our accommodation at Riverside Hotel. It’s a very peaceful place to stay, alongside a small, fast-flowing river. This attracts lots of tropical birds and butterflies to the vegetation at the side of it. Others have stated that it brings mosquitos. We stayed at the hotel for a week in May, had the windows open during the day, but did not get any sort of insect bites. There isn’t a pool, but a long sandy beach is just five minutes’ walk away. The suites are spacious and comfortable, with plenty of storage space for clothes etc. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, suggesting places to visit, eat, etc. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel most of the time. The menu is very varied and the prices very reasonable, and the helpings very generous. I can certainly recommend the Riverside Hotel."
