"Nice little place, centrally located. Super nice and helpful staff, also they offererd to store our bags and valuables while we were gone into the Amazon for a few days. Rooms facing the inner courtyard, which we stayed in, are very quiet, even though it is in the middle of town."

"The history of this Hacienda is incredible and it is all around you. The garden is beautiful and the rooms reflect the period also. The breakfast and dinner were very nice. We enjoyed the cocktail they served. Even more info about the history would be great as it was unclear when or why it had become a hotel but it had been at the centre of Ecuador’s social and cultural life at one stage"
