"Wonderful location in a gorgeous area. Staff were all super friendly and welcoming. The bed was extremely comfortable. Others have commented on the dated decor of the property, and yes, it does appear you’ve stepped back in time, but in a quaint and cosy fashion. Do people check photos or read reviews before they book? I knew what to expect, and yet it exceeded. Everything is perfectly clean and tidy."

The small but functional room has all the necessary features that much more expensive and supposedly upmarket hotels often lack: windows can be opened (very important and all too rare in hotels!), proper reading light above the bed. Very good location."
