"The staff were very helpful, above and beyond, always happy to tell you things and make your stay special. The rooms were very clean, bed, chair table, confortable. No tv but not neede. Nice breakfast, yogurts, ground coffee/ tea, cereals, several breads and jams."

"Very comfortable with everything you need. We made a few meals using the really good small kitchen. It had everything you might need. The bathroom is great. Really good shower with a water-tight cubicle and the water drained away perfectly. Secure parking behind a strong security door was great. Just 15 to 20 minutes walk to the medieval city centre, brimming with culture, fab restaurants and bars. There are two local supermarkets very nearby. The ‘Casino’ next door stocks most things, has a huge halal butcher but doesn’t sell alcohol. The ‘Spar’ around the corner is smaller but does sell alcohol."

"Convenient and timely communication with host via messages, self-check-in. Location on a quiet street, within walking distance of the station, shops, cafés. The apartment was quite spacious for 3 people, but it seemed that for 4 there would be to little space, the bathroom was spacious though. Own small garden. Affordable price, a good option for 1-2 nights."

"The hosts were genuinely friendly and very helpful. They gave us lots of tips and maps and tourist guides (and very nice Breton pancakes and bread!). We were at 150 metres from the beach. We also enjoyed the garden with beautiful trees. There was plenty crockery and cutlery in the kitchen and an dishwasher and deepfreezer."

"Idyllic location: on a little island in the middle of the Seine. The house is small and basic but beds comfortable and even despite the rain we spent most of it outside. Lovely spot outside the house to sit and watch the massive barges come by. We did a lot of cycling and there are a few nice cycle routes to join. Other perfect local things to do: from next village you can go on the fast train to Paris. Versailles is an hour away and Giverney for Monet’s garden is 40 mins."

"We loved every moment of our 3 day stay at this property. Frederique's home is a beautifully designed, very spacious, three-bed, two-bath house in the hills, surrounded by greenery, very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of the sunset. The living area and one bedroom is air-conditioned, which we needed since we arrived in the throes of a heatwave. The master bath is a work of art. Lots of books in French. The entire home is a labour of love. We were the first guests who arrived without a car but ubers and food delivery are easy. Frederique made sure that access to the area was easy for us and the taxis we called. She also has a sweet dog (not in the house where we stayed) and a cat, both of which endeared the whole experience to us even more. (If you're not an animal person, please note that they're not in the house or anywhere in your face). Thank you very much Frederique. You were wonderful."
