"Absolutely loved our stay at this small independent hotel! The building and interiors are brimming with charm and period-perfect furnishings. The location was central and all the main sights of the city were very walkable. The room was cosy yet comfortable, plus double-glazed windows and roller shutters kept out light and noise. But most of all, the view from the room was brilliant – from the second floor we had a spectacular view directly onto Saint-Maurice's church."

"The cupboard and hanging space were very small, but this kind of added the overall charm of the hotel. In the bathroom, the shower head did not have a wall attachment, but again, this was rather quaint and didn't really bother me."

"Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was more varied than we expected, was served for several hours and was good value. We had booked twin rooms which have bathtubs not showers, but two of the three had fixed showers over the bath per our request. we were also able to request kettles for in-room drinks. Location was excellent - 10 mins from the station and from the old city. Beds were comfortable and we could open the windows which we like. We had views over the church opposite. The bathrooms were snug, but in an older building in an old city thats not surprising. We really enjoyed our stay and the value-for-money was appreciated."

"It would be better if all twin rooms have fixed showers over the bathtub but it didn't really matter. Doubles and singles do have walk in showers, but we needed the twins. It was occasionally noisy in the evening, but we chose to open our windows and we were in the middle of a major city so what we would expect. With the windows and shutters closed it was fine. Really nothing I would criticise and I'd go back."
