"Location on the beach was excellent; a short drive from multiple grocery shops as well. View of the sea from the balcony made it a wonderful stay. Apartment has everything you need; fully equipped kitchen, a couple of comfortable chairs to sit in and the underground parking spot was much appreciated. Just as a heads up to others; the owner asked for a security deposit before my stay with a service outside of Booking.com, called "wannapay". They sent a link to it via Booking.com's chat service. It's a legitimate website / service. It didn't charge my card, just held the funds until the owner released them the day after I left the apartment. It all went well, I was just surprised by the external link, so I thought I'd mention it here."

"This is a delightful gite, a genuine home from home in a quiet rural setting, ideal for escaping the pressures of modern life. We stayed for four nights in early June when the weather was somewhat capricious. Nevertheless we explored the local area including excursions to the interesting towns of Beuzeville, Pont l’eveque and Pont-Audemer, amazing how seamlessly these have been sympathetically restored from the ruins of WW2. We had a truly restful stay, charmed by the variety of wild birds as well as the billy goat at the bottom of the garden, the latter a ready recipient of any waste food! Altogether we enjoyed our time here greatly"

"The chalet was lovely and much nicer than I expected based on the pictures. The rooms were spacious and included storage (unusual for ski chalets!) and the kitchen and lounge area very open so perfect for big groups. The sauna/hot-tub/pool is fantastic and much appreciated after a day of skiing! We had 11 staying and there was also hot water each night for everyone's shower. There is also a storage space behind the cars for skis/boots, though it's unheated so we had to keep our boots inside as they got very cold. Great appliances in the kitchen and plenty of pans/kitchen utensils etc. It's also close to some beautiful hiking trails and is a very quiet area, with a great local pizzeria that made delicious pizzas."

"Before coming to Avignon, we stayed at an apartment-style hotel in Paris where the floor hadn’t been properly cleaned, so we had to wipe it ourselves first. In contrast, this house was spotless from corner to corner, and we were able to spend our time here very comfortably. As Japanese guests, we usually take off our shoes and walk barefoot or in socks indoors, so having clean floors made us especially happy. We also really appreciated the spacious bathroom with a large bathtub. In Japan, soaking in the bath is a daily habit, and since we walked about 15,000 steps a day during our trip in France, it was wonderful to relax and recover both body and mind in a warm bath each evening. Another thing we loved was the market just a three-minute walk away, where we could buy fresh vegetables, fruits, and croissants. Thanks to that, we could easily enjoy breakfast or dinner at home as well as dining out. It made our stay in Avignon even more delightful."
