"Our stay at La Forge was a wonderful experience, very comfortable and homely. Karen made us so welcome and made our stay a real pleasure. The breakfast was excellent, very plentiful and delicious. Perret and the surrounding countryside is lovely especially for cycling. Karen found secure space for our bikes overnight. La Forge is unique and very interesting and we would love to stay again if we are in the area."

"Chambre très douillette avec tout le confort, fraîche pour cette chaude soirée d’été dans une maison qui a une âme. Très calme et reposante. De délicates attentions dans la chambre et la salle d’eau. Petit déjeuner copieux et varié. Le village et les alentours nous ont séduits. "We loved the charm of the little chalet and the tranquility of the location. Our hosts left us fresh eggs, from their own hens, on the day of our arrival,. A very kind gesture. The location was perfect for exploring nearby Annecy and even a trip into Geneva. This was a weekend getaway for us and proved the perfect tonic. The Sunday market in Annecy was fabulous and our last afternoon was spent sitting on the terrace with a glass, or two, of wine and our books."
