"2 hosts! Very welcoming and accommodating. A delightful and cosy home in an idyllic setting, well situated in relation to Bagnère-de-Bigorre. Like being in a story book. And the breakfast is fabulous! Generous, high quality and everything local or homemade. What's not to love!!"

"We usually give 5 stars for when the stay matches the description. Wish we could leave 6 for when they go above and beyond. The location is beautiful, the house is lovely and very nicely decorated, everything is clean and comfortable, room and bathroom sizes are just perfect. Breakfast is at another level. Everything is homemade, tastes delicious, and the quantities are more than generous. The hosts make you feel like you're staying with family, they helped with everything we needed, told us about the local traditions, gave us great hiking advice and even lent us hiking shoes. We also booked dinner with them, which had delicious 3 courses and felt like we were at a local restaurant. We can't wait to plan another visit to La Grande Ourse"

"L’accueil des hôtes a été très bien. Très à l’écoute des besoins et pleins de bienveillance. C’est un plaisir de les avoir rencontrées. Le logement est très mignon et grand avec une literie impeccable. Le matin un super petit déjeuner complet et varié fait maison un régal. Le petit plus pas négligeable le jacuzzi. Un week end parfait avec des hôtes aux petits soins. Nous reviendrons sans hésité."

"L’équipement très complet de l’appartement, l’environnement (à 5 min en voiture du lac), les aménagements extérieur lorsqu’il fait beau pour manger dehors, le prix modique de la nuitée. Ce n’est pas du très grand standing mais le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable"

"This is a lovely place located in a very calm and quiet place. The proprietor, Francoise, is personable and kind and was attentive to our needs. We stayed for one night cycling out to Brest and stayed on our return enroute to St Malo. We were given excellent evening meals which were wholesome and delicious. The bedroom was large and comfortable and the sound of silence was just what we needed. A great place to stay."
"L'accueil formidable, un hôte chaleureux, simple et disponible. Nous avons eu plaisir à converser avec lui. Le logement est très propre et très bien situé. Une superbe vue pour laquelle nous sommes venus. Les lits sont très confortable et il y a tout à disposition dans la cuisine et la salle de bain pour l'entretien courant. Petit bonus pour la machine à laver qui est très appréciable pour une famille. Nous étiez 6 et chacun avait son espace pour vivre y compris les enfants."
