"The property is just like the photo. Very warm and cosy for two adults, our teen child, and dogs. There is no issue with noise, a very peaceful village. We only cooked breakfast and everything went smoothly. Our host is very friendly and always helpful. There is a couple restaurants in the village but one is only open on weekends. Many walking paths and one can easily walk to Ribeauvillé. If your dog must toilet on grass, you will need to walk about 3 minutes to a grassy area. It’s dark at night so bring a good flashlight. If there is another opportunity, we’d stay again and would also recommend to others."
"Nothing. But if you’re a light sleeper, the old squeaky floor of an old (very old - 17th century old) house may wake you if one needs to go toilet. Not an issue for us."
"This is an absolutely amazing and authentic place that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The atmosphere is incredible, and the location in such a beautiful town and setting is perfect. The owner was so kind and attentive—a truly caring host. Our children also had a fantastic time and we will definitely remember this trip. Highly recommend this unique experience to everyone!"

"Mitten im netten Ort Hunawihr gelegen, typisch elsässisches Fachwerkhaus mit liebevoller Einrichtung und vielen Details, frische Blumen, ein selbstgebackenes Osterlamm für uns und ein aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und die Küche bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort!"

"La qualité de la prestation, l'accueil du propriétaire, l'équipement complet proposé, la localisation proche de toutes commodités. Bref, nous reviendrons très certainement :) Petite suggestion pour les familles accompagnées d'enfants en bas âges et marchants : Une petite barrière de protection à l'étage au niveau des escaliers pourraient être un grand plus. "We spent the weekend in an old bunker—solid, restored, and full of history. Outside, it looked like a quiet farm in a tiny village in France; inside, it felt like a living museum. By the kitchen window, spent shell casings sat in a glass case, tucked just behind the teapot. A rusty combat helmet lay on the lawn, weathered by time. Barbed wire still lined the window—a silent reminder of the past. The place was calm, almost cocoon-like, but every corner spoke of history. I’m a history buff, and I was completely in my element. The hosts were welcoming, serving breakfast before we left. We said our goodbyes, already knowing—we’d be back."
