"Clean, warm, comfortable beds. Room a good size. Proprietor very friendly. Very helpful. Recommended restaurant down the road. La Mare de Lievre. Very good. Breakfast good."

"The host was very welcoming. Was told by booking.com that we could have a room on the ground floor but the host emailed to say this was wrong. However he had a small self contained chalet in the garden which he let us have even though he had closed it. Very nice breakfast and extremely clean. Cannot recommend enough. Will return as soon as possible!!!"

"We chose the cabin as my partner has trouble with stairs so this was a great option for us. It was easy to find and we enjoyed the freedom to come and go as we pleased. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed including a full sized fridge."

"I rarely hand out a 10/10, but in the case of "Le Cardinal" I will make an exception. Host was super friendly, and speaks several languages. Enjoys going the extra mile and has a good knowledge of the Normandy Region. Access and parking was very good, premises was clean and garden well maintained. Room was very cosy and homely, and above all very clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and not too soft. Wifi access was complimentary and sufficient in speed and availability (expect no modern day wonders), though 4G coverage via cell phone is excellent in the area. Towels were fresh and provided twice during our stay of 3 nights. Breakfast choices were good and fresh. There's a bakery/patisserie across the street, if you want a sandwich or something sweet on your day out. Also plenty of choices of local farmers produce within a radius of 3km from Le Cardinal."

"Parfait, de l'arrivée personnalisée avec un accueil chaleureux et sympathique, la chambre décorée avec goût, du linge qui sent bon le frais, au petit déjeuner servi exceptionnellement à 7 h du matin pour que Monsieur puisse "digérer" avant le marathon, au conseil de restaurant pour le diner..."
"Rien tout était parfait, je ne trouve absolument rien à redire à ce lieu, facile à trouver, peut être un peu isolé pour certain mais proche de Deauville moins de 10 km."
