"Location, as only a street away from town and estuary. It was well set out and big enough for 2 people. Excellent shower and comfortable bed. Kitchen well equipped."
"Difficult to reach the combi oven, as set on a high shelf, but there was also a hob and microwave. Couch was just ok for us, possibly on small side if you're broad/tall!"
"Perfectly situated, near to all necessery stores in the center of the village. Well equipped (stove, fridge, coffee machine...). Stephanie was very helpful resolving some issues."
"WLAN didn't work, but will be fixed soon. The bed could be bigger, and it squeaks a bit when you move. The door handles have to be moved up when you want to close them ( not obvious for non-Frenchmen)."
"Exactly as described! A nicely arranged ground floor studio apartment in a quiet street just off the town centre, near the iconic thirteen arch bridge. Easy on street parking and we let ourselves in with the key found in the key safe thanks to the excellent instructions provided."

"Gros bémol sur l'isolation phonique, nous entendons les personnes qui vivent au-dessus, cette nuit nous avons été réveillés à 1h par le chat qui courait et sautait. Le matelas est inconfortable et un vrai canapé serait un plus."

"Breakfast was excellent with protein filled options. Excellent for the cyclists! Famous muesli fully deserved its reputation. Delicious!! Very central location. Parking nearby. The owners were very informative about the area and recommended some very good restaurants. Would definitely stay there again."
"We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage looks small from the outside but it was very spacious, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Sylvie was a fantastic host, delivering fresh goodies each morning and always easy to contact if you needed anything. Although the cottage is at the bottom of the garden, it felt very private as you're hidden by the trees and plants. It's also got a separate side entrance, so no need to walk through the main house. I got the impression from many of the reviews that people usually stay for just 1 or 2 nights, but we stayed for 3 and honestly could have stayed longer. Saint Saens is a very small town, but it has everything you need and it's very picturesque. It was a great base to use whilst exploring Normandy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!"

"We had a wonderful family stay at Domaine de la Commanderie de Ballan, with beautiful grounds for our little ones to explore and fantastic facilities throughout. The kitchen was so well equipped that cozy dinners in were a highlight, along with a delicious charcuterie board and estate wines. Even though rain kept us from enjoying the gorgeous pool, we would definitely come back just for that!"
