"Great that it had an included restaurant as there was very little else available in town. Staff are very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. Clean. Bed was comfortable and balcony was nice."

"Pierre and his wife were lovely hosts! They have put so much thought and attention into La Grange, their amenities, the rooms, the shared spaces, the breakfast, and the experience they provide overall to their guests on behalf of their village and l'Alsace. They were so accommodating to our group with bikes and cars, spent time with us on arrival, at breakfast, and showing us around. It's a place worth staying a few days if you can :)"

"A beautiful spacious apartment that is fully equipped. The apartment is dog friendly. The “rental agent” is very friendly. A good explanation how to get in the apartment. Free parking next to the building. A Carrefour supermarket is just steps away. The beach is a 5-10 minute walk and dogs are allowed (on a leash)."

"This is the 4th time in 7 years we have stayed here, Brigette and Jacques and Java are now more like friends and make us very welcome leaving special treats on arrival. Location is superb and some locals even recognise us, if you want peace and tranquility and love dogs this is the place to stay. We shall return soon. "A beautiful area with so much to see. Within half an hour are,Cognac, Angouleme and Saintes. Rich in history , old houses and culture. We love strolling beside the charente River. The vines for Cognac grow all around. Also a warm welcome and attention to our needs from our hostess . We will return! The bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent."

"We enjoyed a fantastic weekend here. It is a lovely location in a beautifully restored residence. It was our base to tour round the WW2 beaches on our bikes. All rooms were very comfortable and plenty of room for us to eat inside or outside. The host was excellent and even drove us to the local supermarket in Bayeaux. She went above and beyond. We would highly recommend this place."
