"All the facilities were there. It also had bikes of which we took full advantage. Our host was very friendly and helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. It was in a lovely position to explore the coastline. Everything was well thought out. and Philip could not do enough for us. Internet was excellent and easy to access. Good value for money."

"Ein wunderschönes kleines Häuschen. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Im Haus ist alles zu finden, was man braucht. Die Betten sind bequem. Der Gastgeber sehr nett. Sehr angenehm war bei der Hitze die Klimaanlage."
"Für jeden ein großes Badetuch zum Duschen wäre nett gewesen. Es gab jede Menge Handtücher, aber nur ein großes für die Dusche."

Le chalet Vendéen et un bon compromis pour visiter la côte Vendéen et être au calme le soir."

"Si vous cherchez un endroit calme, ne cherchez plus. Cadre très agréable dans un endroit qui semble perdu au bout du monde. Le chalet est bien équipé. Très réactif, le propriétaire intervient très rapidement. Continuez comme ça."

"The chalet is lovely, it's in a really good location, right in the middle of La Chapelle-d'Abondance, it has parking behind in the courtyard and it's just off the main route through the village. We were advised close to our check-in time that the heating had had an issue, there were some radiators left for us, but we had an 11 month old baby and we needed more (the host's sister dropped off more on the next day) and the heating was fixed on the first day the plumber was available. The host even came over to apologise and he helped me jump start my car (the temperature went down to -10). It's a lovely chalet, it might need a little modernising, but you're not really there for the chalet, more the mountains, skiing/snowboarding. I would have no hesitation to come back and stay here again."
"First of all excellent hosts! Place is calm and surrounded by nature. Very nice garden with natural pool, tree house which kids love it together with the chicken and the cat…we spent only two days and hopping to come back…Thanks Luc and Liliane!"

"The compact room had everything we needed, including kitchenette with cooking facilities, shower room and loo. It was attractively furnished, cosy and very clean. We enjoyed the quiet, private outside space which had table, chairs and loungers. The absolutely beautiful host's garden provided a lovely setting. The host and hostess were welcoming and friendly. We felt quite at home."
