"The location is good, in the middle of the train station and the university UCA. The address is not precise enough. The true address is ‘47 Bis Allée de Rochefeuille, 63000 Clermont-Ferrand, France' It is very important to include 'Bis'. Otherwise '47 Allée ...' is a private house. The check-in is strict. Without reservation and extra fee in advance, the normal check-in is after 3 p.m.. In my case two men (owners) arrived around 14h45 and gave me keys directly so I do not need to use phone calls or codes. There is a 500 Euro caution charged before check-in. The caution is refunded quickly, one day after check-out. The room is well-equipped. There is a hair dryer, a bathtub, a washing machine, a coffee maker with capsule etc."

"La Mouline exceeded our expectations. What a lovely little house located in the bucolic forest setting over a bubbling stream that lulled us to sleep each night. Dominique was the perfect host who provided excellent instructions for our arrival and met us to give us the keys and took us on a tour of the grounds. He was also in contact with us throughout to ensure our stay was going well and inquired as to whether we needed anything to enhance our visit. The gardens of the estate are gorgeous and getting to feed Linda, the donkey, made our visit complete. We enjoyed La Mouline so much we reserved a future visit while we were still there."

"I just needed a bed for the night on a solo cycling trip and this place was perfect. The compound was locked at night so my bike was safe and secure if a little damp with the morning dew. I really really likes this place. Not only clean and comfortable but relaxing and meditative with lovely bed linen. The owner has really made an effort. After the shop and cafe had closed at 6pm I had the whole garden to myself. Candes and neighbouring Montsorreau are officially among the most Beautiful Villages in France so it was lovely t9 spend the evening wandering around, I could only find one restaurant in Candes but there are more in Montsorreau which is about a Mike’s walk away."

"I liked the location, it was 10 mins away from my friend's apartment, and also how it was a ground floor building so very easy to get into considering how hard it can be to navigate around Paris. It was quite a big space, lovely living room/dining room area, spacious bedroom. Nice shower. Well equipped."
