"There weren't any sachets of milk in room for coffee..they did explain they sometimes make a mess and they did offer a cup of milk..maybe some milk powder sachets are the answer..our view was more of a hill than a ' mountain ' .however didn't really spoil anything although the TV was kind of small.."

"We had a budget room, small but modern. The toilet was in a separate area from the bathroom which was small. Great shower We did not have breakfast but the dinners we had were very nice. Great for a one or two night stay"

"This is an old fashioned hotel, and I mean that in a good way. It feels family run, the staff are so welcoming and freindly, even the keys are real keys and not bits of plastic. The location is lovely, overlooking Combourg's lake, the public areas are fine, I enjoyed an overlong nightcap in the bar! I had a great night's sleep in a super comfy bed. It was so peaceful I assumed that the hotel was nearly empty at the end of a season. I was surprised to see how busy it was for the breakfast serving, it obviosuly attracts nice quiet guests!"

"The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, which goes a long way to us having a good time. The location of the hotel made it easy to visit the town on foot. Whilst we didn't use any of the games equipment, books etc for the children, we thought the idea was wonderful. We also really appreciated being able to take our well behaved dog into the breakfast area, so he could be with us."
