"This is a beautiful place. It overlooks a river scene, with the river flowing towards the mill. We were looking up the river, not across it. The staff prepared our room, and then changed it because we had mistakenly booked single beds, even though we had arrived two hours early. All as if it were no trouble at all. We got at least six sightings of kingfishers and one of a great spotted woodpecker from our bedroom window. There is canoe hire on site. The mill itself is interesting, especially to mechanically minded people."

"We stumbled across this property at short notice during our tour of the Loire valley. Were only due to stay one night, but fell in love with the place immediately, so stayed three nights! The Mill is a charming building, sensitively refurbished by the owner Tim. The setting is amazing with nothing but the sound of the river and the abundant wildlife to hear. Resident Kingfishers are a delight."

"Interesting building with very tasteful rooms in a great quiet spot that feels right into nature (although there is a village/housing right next to it on the other side). There were birds (ao a kingfisher!) and beavers to watch. Great hosts that told us about the interesting history of the building and renovation."
"It can be a bit noisy (thin walls/floors) if you are unlucky with the other guests. We had some people coming home late above us which could be heard."
"A beautiful place to stay, so tranquil and an amazing location to enjoy the extensive natural habitat. It was a perfect stop for our cycle of La Velo Francette. The owner Tim was really friendly. He has lovingly restored an Old Mill and it was a joy to stay there. I can highly recommend a stay there"

"Host / staff brings keys and show us around. Very nice and kind lady! Appartment is with garage and this is great for travellers with car! Car need to be less than 4.8 meters long, if you want to close garage. But in any case there are automatic locked addtional door to street, so you have car on safe space. Very nice, renovated, appartment. Small but really functional. With ellegant equipment. Very calm residential area."

"We were met by a neighbour on arrival who helped us to sort out keys, get to the elevator, and get in. The apartment was really clean, cool and met our needs for a weeks stay. Loved having a little balcony to sit at for breakfast in the morning. Shower was great as well. Nice to have some cool drinks waiting in the fridge when we arrived (we left the money to pay for these at the end, of course). Perfect for our stay and visit to the Olympics. Thank you so much! Tip: because it’s outside of Paris, check your transport options before you go - we benefitted from special travel tickets for the week which covered all public transport and all zones; just available for the Olympics however - make sure whatever ticket you pick up includes RER and Metro, so that you can travel inside and outside of Paris centre."
