"Comfortable, quiet and well equipped house. Situated ideally for us so we could easily drive to the Normandy beaches WW2 museums and cemeteries. We could also walk into town to eat and to visit sites there. Bênoit and Caroline met us when we arrived and showed us around the house and how everything worked."

"Benoít (host) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, he went above and beyond. With this place you get lots of incredible little extras that are not in the general listing. Fresh eggs from the chickens, tomato's from the greenhouse, local cider in the fridge, breakfast stuff their ready for the morning and many more little extras which really make the stay feel special. Lots of tips on local things to see and do and being available via whatsapp whenever we would need him!"

"Spacious accommodation in a quiet area with nice garden and own drive for parking. Short drive into Bayeux, 15 mins to nearest beaches, 3 mins to supermarket. Bed was really comfy. The location was excellent for visiting the Normandy beaches, D-Day museums and War cemetaries. The big museum at Caen was less than 30mins drive away."

"Could maybe do with more breakfast bowls. lids for the pans, a jug, and a chest of drawers in the front bedroom. Having Netflix or equivalent included free would have been good."

"Immaculately clean, spacious and the owners have literally thought of everything. Benoit and Caroline were such gracious hosts. They answered texts very quickly and gave great recommendations for local restaurants (Chateau Saint Gilles being our favorite). The fresh eggs, cider and treats in the fridge on our arrival were a lovely touch. The location was great-a bit of a walk to the town center but certainly doable, and we actually liked not being in the center because it was so peaceful. Bayeux is a lovely city, very historical. We loved the cathedral. We made the mistake of leaving our last day to shop-it was a Monday and we didn’t realize that most of the smaller, independent shops close Sunday/Monday. But Bayeux is so lovely to walk around and explore that it didn’t even matter. We highly recommend this beautiful house."
