"The staff in the hotel and across the whole resort have been so lovely, helpful and informative. This is by far the friendliest resort we've been to across France. The food was great. Raclette one night was really cool. The room was very comfortable and practically equipped. The communal areas comfortable and inviting inc. the bar, food hall, balcony and spar. The spar area was a real treat with a huge hot tub with views of the mountains. Skiing straight from the door felt really luxurious for such a reasonable price. We even got powder on 2 days. The mixture of slopes and lifts were great for our 5yr old and his skiing really came on a lot. I couldn't praise the hotel and Les Karellis ski resort enough."

"BB Villa Roumanille is a beautiful old house that has been in the owner's family for many years. The host, Delphine was very helpful, welcoming and there if you needed help but you were allowed to enjoy the premises without being bothered. Our bedroom was huge and bathroom was clean and efficient but retained the character of the house. Breakfast was simple but good and again you were left to your own devices. Car parking was spacious and on the day of checkout we could leave the car there to explore the city. The place was about a fifteen minute walk from the centre but once there the town centre offered an enormous number of great restaurants, bars, museums and interesting places to visits. There was a mini bus hop-on hop-off service in the town which was very inexpensive and was a great way to see everything We stayed only one day which was not enough time there. Aix de Provence is a city that is historic, vibrant and has just that lovely feel to it."

"An older hotel very well updated and maintained, excellent place to stay for a tour of the region. Supremely comfortable beds! The breakfast is excellent and the restaurant worth a detour to experience, and reasonably priced, too. Excellent selection of regional wines, as well as the French classics. Our two dogs were welcomed and very happy with their walks on the paths in the surrounding area."
