"Great little studio with a superb view and afternoon /evening sunshine shining through. Well appointed and decorated, it has everything you need including free parking right on the street. Well located within walking distance of shops bars and restaurants but in a quiet street. Very good communication from the owner. Highly recommended!"

"Very clean and nicely decorated bedsit apartment with an excellent view over the old harbour. 10 minutes drive to the ferry port entrance. The kitchen was small but reasonably equipped, and we appreciated that they had the cooking basics (oil, salt..) available."

"The Beach in Calais is absolutely lovely and worth travelling from England to experience. The accommodation is very clean and comfortable. and has a lovely hot shower with good pressure. It is also very well equipped with everything needed to cook and enjoy a nice meal. Although Calais has plenty of restaurants and cafes to enjoy a meal. There is also a train station with good connections to the rest of France. I, myself, enjoyed a day trip in Paris, and I also visited Dunkerque, with all its WW2 history, though being sad, it is interesting.Now Dunkerque has lovely clean beach with plenty of activity's to join. All in all, I had a great week with lovely, affordable accommodation to return to in the evening."

"Michelle and Bruno are the most wonderful hosts. We felt like we were welcomed into their family home, eating and dining with them as well as other guests in other rooms. It also gave us a good chance to practice our French! The food was very special, we had a 3 course meal, with local produce, local wine and Michelle’s home cooking. The room was absolutely beautiful, spacious and comfortable, we felt very spoilt - definitely good value for money! And on top of that, they have 2 donkeys! Thank you again, we couldn’t recommend this stay enough, especially if you are cyclists like us, looking for a good rest stop on your way to the Alps."

"We spent six wonderful nights in this spacious, well-equipped chalet. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by our gracious host and her niece. The space was clean, airy, and very comfortable—ideal for a couple with plenty of room to relax. The kitchen and amenities were exactly what we needed. The location is peaceful and quiet, yet just a 15–25 minute drive to several of the most popular mountain bike parks in the area—an excellent base for riders. Overall, this accommodation was everything we hoped for: spacious, clean, calm, and conveniently located with beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene retreat with easy access to outdoor adventures in the Portes du Soleil region. We also highly recommend visiting Boulangerie Pâtisserie Pauvert, just a short walk or drive away. Their products are truly excellent — fresh, delicious, and clearly made with care."
