Dockside Hotel

"Hi, it’s very small room the bed it’s very small. The toilet is very dirty. I got the proof TV doesn’t work and the tower they have only one tower so please as a request. They charge too much like a normal hotel like a holiday in premium they charge normal price, but they don’t have any facility."

"If the people would stalk outside, we can clearly listen the talk. The door is where it’s like a broken door the door it’s not clear the key. It’s like very very old model like a 2002 like 2000 1998 so they have to change everything."

"5 minutes walk to Shadwell tube station and DLR. Very convenient to go to central London."

"Very old building not well maintained. Very hot bathroom with the impossibility of turning off the heating. One towel provided, dry and not soft. Scars blinders, the room was too bright like there were none. Poor breakfast and cheap food. Coffee was too long. Pillows are not soft and inside they have formed lumps (just like when you wash them in the washing machine). No side table provided. No night lamps provided. 3 clothes hangers only. Carpet dirty. Shower full of limescale Mold on the walls and paint coming off. The only extra towel they had was a face towel."

"Cheap and cheerful and overnight stay. Ideal for Brick Lane / Shoreditch. Nice hot shower and lovely breakfast. Lovely lady attending to us at breakfast."

"Ideal no hassle little hotel for a short stay within walking distance to the tube. Very good value for money with generous breakfast included. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and despite being close to the road, me and my daughter had a good sleep."

"Minor issues with facilities - shower temperature was difficult to set- a bit too hot. Window in the bathroom (2nd floor) didn’t properly close."

"The hotel claims to have a 24/7 reception staff in place and that was a big joke. I arrived at the hotel (5:30pm) and nobody was there. I rang the bell nobody opened it. I called the phone number but nobody picked up. after 10 minutes a hotel guest leaving the hotel let me in but I had to wait another 5 minutes as the reception staff had been gone shopping. after going to my room and unpacking I forgot to ask for the wifi password and I went back to the reception but the staff was already gone and I had to wait again for 10 minutes. Same in the morning: nobody was at the reception and a note just mentioned to leave the keys on the counters. The room was very hot (with no way to change the heating) and I had to open a dilapidated window to get the right temperature but it became noisy. The shower water was too hot and impossible to change the setting as the knobs were gripped. I had booked for two nights and I left the next morning as it was unbearable, poor service, poor quality and still £65/night which is not worth what I got. I wont return for sure."
