Just a few minutes’ walk from Fort Augustus on the edge of Loch Ness, this award-winning lodge offers four-star hostel accommodation with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Fort William is 30 miles away. The Great Glen Way passes the end of the driveway at Morag's Lodge, and there is cycle storage on site. Inverness can be reached in 45 minutes by car. Breakfast, packed lunches, and evening meals are available. There is also a licensed bar, where you can enjoy a range of drinks and relax beside an open fire. There are a variety of rooms at Morag's Lodge, and most have an en suite bathroom. You can enjoy free tea and coffee making facilities. Children of any age are welcome to stay in private rooms accompanied by a responsible adult, children over 14yrs are welcome to stay in our shared dorm rooms accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note we cannot allow children under the age of 14 years old to stay in shared mixed dorm rooms. Full terms and conditions are available on our website. Dogs are welcome to stay in our private rooms, a £10.00 cleaning charge is applicable per room. Towel hire is available for £1.00 per towel Please note during the off-peak season (November - March) our evening services; reception, bar and evening meals, may not be available. On nights when the evening services are not available, self-check-in procedures will be in place.

"The hostel was clean tidy and well run. There was a bar and dinner available. We were able to secure our bikes in the shed. Beds were comfy and our ensuite bathroom had a powerful Mira shower."

"This was a brilliant find. It had everything I needed. Comfortable communal seating area, a bar, excellent drying room, the breakfast and staff were amazing. It had a comfortable and clean bed, the shower facilities were great. It was perfectly placed for The Great Glen Way. I can’t fault this place and would definitely recommend!"

"The cottage is beautiful with nice, soft beds and a big bright bathroom. Amazing views from both livingroom and kitchen. There's a lovely window seat where I sat from early morning just soaking up the beautiful landscape, it's so relaxing and peaceful. The family are lovely and we even got to see a lamb be born. Couldn't ask for better hosts."
