"This place should not be missed on your Georgia trip. Situated next to a nice lake (good for birding!), you will stay next to a castle which the owner built himself. The owner is very knowledgeable in Georgian culture and history and happy to tell you things you surely did not know about Georgia before. Not only that: he and his family are also outstanding hosts, happy to share a glass or two (or more!) of delicious self-made wine in a truly unique, artistic, cozy, and fascinating place. Something to be aware of: it is possible you will hear singing party guests in the evening - better grab a glass and join in! Thank you, we will definitely come back!"

"Замечательная архитектурная композиция в виде средневекового замка, очень красиво и необычно. Очень красивый вид на озеро. Очень доброжелательные и приветливые хозяева, которые сразу откликаются на любую просьбу или пожелание. Вкуснейший завтрак в большом обеденном зале. При желании вы можете сами приготовить еду на углях в саду или на плите на кухне. Всё необходимое для этого предоставляется. Также нас щедро угостили местными напитками и овощами. Рад приятной, хоть и короткой, встрече и беседе непосредственно с хозяином и строителем этой красоты."

"Отель расположен в чудесной сельской местности, небольшой участок грунтовой дороги, рядом озеро. Идеально для людей, любящих единение с природой . Мы жили в двух соседних номерах, на 4 и 2 человека. Хозяин очень приятный человек, интересный рассказчик. Длительное время работал в театре Сатирикон с Константином Райкиным , отвечал за костюмы, свет и декорации. Человек очень творческий, поэтому отель построен в виде замка с башнями и наполнен старыми прикольными вещами , как музей. Его жена Адель прекрасно готовит. На утро нам накрыли такой обильный вкусный завтрак, как нигде больше в Грузии! Пользуясь случаем, передаем Адель привет, очень приятная женщина! Мы жили в Грузии в шести отелях, этот понравился больше всего, место куда хочется вернуться.Жаль что были только одни сутки. Цена вполне приемлемая . Вокруг прекрасная природа . В озере можно купаться , но мы поехали на другое озеро с крепостью Ананури, где пляж побольше ."

"Everything I could have asked for in a lodging and more. Golden Cradle is a special gem unlike anywhere else I’ve stayed in my travels abroad. Aside from the obvious allure of staying in such a unique building it’s extra special for being next to a beautiful lake and having the most hospitable of hosts who really went out of their way to be accommodating and make me feel welcomed like family. I will absolutely be coming back."

"The location is amazing, right next to a lake. The owners were extremely friendly and very accommodating. As soon as they found out that we just got married, they offered us a nicer room and their own wine! It’a a very quirky and fun place. The artist David that built two castles then even gave us a little tour inside, fascinating experience! His wife was also very friendly! Overall a very cool place to stay!"

"Otel çok merkezi. Zaten Zugdidi küçük bir yer. Harika bir butik oteldi. Terastaki yüzme havuzu tek kelimeyle muhteşem. Sahibinin çiftliği varmış galiba, oradan taze süt geliyormuş ve 2. katta kahvaltı katında çalışan Nana o sütle peynir ve yoğurt yapıyor. Gerçekten çok lezzetli. Nana'ya çok teşekkürler, ellerine sağlık, aynı zamanda Türkçe de biliyor kendisi. Kahvaltısı doyurucu, fakat tek çeşit peynir vardı ve kruvasan ile taze portakal suyu da olsaydı daha iyi olurdu. Odaların büyüklüğü de harikaydı. Tam bir dinlenme oteli."
"The couple, Jimsher and Risa were very kind, welcoming and friendly. Risa made us a wonderful breakfast and dinner with a variety of meals. They offered each of us a lunchbox for our next day of the trip for free. We were a group of 3 people and the room was clean, big, with comfortable beds and a heater. So I definitely recommend everyone who's searching to stay in the area."
