"Great location. Three mins walk from the colchis fountain and the drop point (Budget Georgia office,) of our return trip from Mestia, you are in the heart of the city when you stay with gem. It is a house built in 1899 and ye hostess was there to welcome us when we reached rather late at 9.30, tired from our 5 hours travel. She offered us warm Khachapuri which she had made herself and a lovely glass of wine, most welcome after a tiring travel. Beautiful ancient house with classy furniture and cutlery. Will be happy to come here again."
"The bedroom is rather small is the only flip side but we were there just for a night, just about 12 hours, 9.30 pm to 9.30 am and for us for such short stay, that was good enough. Clean washroom, well designed on a small area befitting the small bedroom, hence was still not a dampner for us. Honestly for a lovely upkeep and the location and the host, I would have happily stayed there even if I would have had to extend my stay in Kutaisi."
"Guesthouse 1899 exceeded all our expectations! The location is unbeatable — just steps from the central fountain, cafés, and restaurants, making it easy to explore the town on foot. Kristina is an amazing and welcoming host; she went above and beyond by helping with our laundry, greeting us each evening with wine and cake, and even making us delicious homemade khachapuri. The room was comfortable, cosy, and thoughtfully equipped, including robes — perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Incredible value for money and such a warm, personal experience. We can’t recommend Guesthouse 1899 highly enough!"

"Absolutely fantastic homestay in Kutaisi. Spotless clean, comfy, and close to everything. Amazing host, very hospitable and friendly. She even brought us homemade wine and bread at night. One of the best experiences in Georgia! And we had some of the best food in the restaurant nearby that she recommended to us (Baraqa)."

"Otel çok merkezi. Zaten Zugdidi küçük bir yer. Harika bir butik oteldi. Terastaki yüzme havuzu tek kelimeyle muhteşem. Sahibinin çiftliği varmış galiba, oradan taze süt geliyormuş ve 2. katta kahvaltı katında çalışan Nana o sütle peynir ve yoğurt yapıyor. Gerçekten çok lezzetli. Nana'ya çok teşekkürler, ellerine sağlık, aynı zamanda Türkçe de biliyor kendisi. Kahvaltısı doyurucu, fakat tek çeşit peynir vardı ve kruvasan ile taze portakal suyu da olsaydı daha iyi olurdu. Odaların büyüklüğü de harikaydı. Tam bir dinlenme oteli."
"The couple, Jimsher and Risa were very kind, welcoming and friendly. Risa made us a wonderful breakfast and dinner with a variety of meals. They offered each of us a lunchbox for our next day of the trip for free. We were a group of 3 people and the room was clean, big, with comfortable beds and a heater. So I definitely recommend everyone who's searching to stay in the area."
