"Great location. Taxis right outside. Beach 5 mins walk away and monkey park right next door. Can see monkeys in the grounds. Very friendly host too.... Also very spacious inside and felt safe."

"The happy corner Lodge probably was the best accommodation I had during my solo travel in Gambia. The food was outstanding, especially the chicken :) But the best part was the hospitality and the tour guide of Mbaye. He truly is the most chilled out Gambian guy ever and the tour he fixed to the stone circles and the river was outstanding. We saw hippos, chimps and crocodiles all in 1 day. I truly think that this side of Gambia, so the area surrounding Janjanbureh, is the real Gambia which everyone should see once in their lifetime."
