The recently renovated Castle Hotel is steeped in sophisticated Georgian style, featuring original, sweeping staircases, crystal chandeliers, antique mirrors and marble fireplaces. Rooms at The Castle Hotel are individually designed to reflect the elegance of the building and have hairdryers, direct dial telephones, tea/coffee making facilities and TVs. The Castle Vaults bar/restaurant has an exposed vaulted ceiling which was part of the original 18th-century wine cellars. It offers yeni nesil cuisine, a pre-theatre menu and an evening à la carte menu, along with live Traditional Irish Music every night. The Old Music Shop restaurant is situated in a Georgian Room overlooking Findlater's 19th-century Gothic Revival Church. It offers an all-day menu of pizza, pasta, salads and gourmet sandwiches. A pre-theatre and evening menu is also available. The hotel has its own secure private car park. The Aircoach Dublin Airport Bus stops just 3 minute's walk away. Croke Park, The Hugh Lane art Gallery, The Garden of Remembrance, The Abbey and Gate theatres and the James Joyce Cultural Centre are all a short walk away.

"The breakfast was piping hot and there was quite a selection with Hot meals for breakfast and a lighter breakfast available. The room was lovely and the bathroom was large and airy. The only issue was that there was a large support handle (presumably for the elderly) right near the shower head making it a bit difficult to shower. The rest rooms in the Hotel were out of this world with some exquisite furniture in them and the evening entertainment every evening was enjoyable. This is a must place to stay in Dublin !"
