"Amazingly clean for a farm house. Surrounded by Icelandic horses, sheep and scenery. Fast and easy communication with the owner. Private semi-natural hot tub. Close to the Geysir and Gullfoss. We truly enjoyed our stay there."

"Toilet door get stuck sometimes but is a small problem 🙂"

"Amazing location, and such a great perk with the hot tub out on the terrace! We were blown away by the landscape, and we went several times over to the geysers just seven minutes away by car to see the active fountain type geyser Stokkur erupt again and again. It really was the perfect place to explore south central Iceland. We went to Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, to experience the rift between the continents, and also took a day trip down the black beach by Vik. It was lovely to come back to this cozy cottage in the evenings, and to enjoy the hot tub out on the terrace."

"We didn’t quite figure out one of the radiators so one of the bedrooms ended up being a bit too warm, but we didn’t ask for help so that is on us :)"

"Veľmi pekná chatka, dobre zariadená, ďaleko od ruchu, kone nablízku, páčilo sa nám. Ďakujeme"

"Niečo uz treba vymeniť. Sušiak na prádlo nebezpečný, rozpadnutý. Je veľmi potrebný. Potom nepoužiteľný starý, obitý, jediný veľký hrniec, napr. na cestoviny, škoda, lebo ostatné kuchynské vybavenie je v poriadku. Chýbal nám."

"Tolle Lage, perfekt für Erkundungsfahrten zu den vielen Highlights in der Umgebung; idyllisch und ruhig gelegen; privater Hot Tub genial und sauber; alle Küchenutensilien vorhanden. Nettes Nebenhäuschen. Guter Grill."

"Keine Ablageflächen in den Schlafzimmern für die Kleidung; Küche zu voll, wir mussten erst einmal Platz für unsere Lebensmittel schaffen. Unordnung hinter dem Haus."

"Lovely place! Met one of the hosts, Hjalti and had lovely chats with him, local recomendations for swimming pools and food. Even told me all about the town and its recent challenges after the 2023 eruptions. What better to hear about it than from a local? Very clean house and common spaces, including the kitchen and toilets. Coffee machine was a life saver in the winter. Cozy living and dining room to hang out in. Spacious and clean room. Ample parking area right in front of the house. Just be mindful there is a flight of stairs leading up to the entrance for those with mobility considerations. I wish you guys and your town all the best, Dagmar and Hjalti!"

"Very nice place for a night on the island - two minutes by car form the ferry, you can find parking place everywhere - This place is easy to find, especially when you get so clear instructions - room was ok, bathroom was clean - electric kettle and fridge on spot, very good coffee downstairs in the cafe, shops are within the walking distance, anyway everything is great and within the walking distance - accept the weather- it was snowing so much that we didn't see the volcano .... so it is a good reason to come back on the island in the future :)"
