"The location in the centre of the village and right on the VF. Wifi was good."

"Host kindly spoke english and explained everything well. Crisp cotton sheets, spacious bathroom with bath, a good set up to dry clothing on roof. It may be an older place but just perfect for an overnight on Via Francigena. Thoroughly enjoyed having a beer (from Carrefour) on the roof with fellow pilgrim gazing over stunning view. Plenty of good places to eat nearby."

"This hotel is mayby little bit old and outdated , but really cosy and the MOST important thing for me it was VERY clean room !!!!! The price is really cheap and you feel yourself like at home. The owner is a really sweet lady that advised me some good local restaurants. The price/quality relationship is - 10/10. ! And they have a relly nice CAT!"

"Good location, nice and friendly host, room clean, bed comfortable, check-in quite easy despite the fact that the host spoke very limited English, the view was somebody's back yard but I'm not complaining as the yard had a cat! And that same cat came to welcome us and say goodbye as we were leaving. What more could you ask for :)"

"The bathroom door was a bit worn and didn't stay shut, had to lodge a carpet under it for it to stay closed."

"Anche se un po' datata è una struttura molto accogliente. La titolare è gentile e sorridente, la stanza silenziosa e aveva un ottimo riscaldamento. Siamo stati solo una notte e siamo rimasti pienamente soddisfatti. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo."

"Second time at this hotel. Amazing location, but make sure you get the newly refurbished rooms for a better experience. It’s a proper hotel with all the needed facilities included, but the SPA is also waiting for renovation"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Désirée. Location is central in Sirmione, we booked a parking spot outside via the Hotel and it was about 10-15 mins walk one way and allowed us to easily explore the surrounding villages and cities. And the old town was easily explored by foot and the location allowed to visit touristy spots before it was too crowded. The rooms have balconies offering a lovely view over the lake, breakfast was really good vs other Italian hotels and the hotel pool offers some laid back relaxation vs the hustle of the city."

"Perfect location, super central and easy to walk around. Bardolino is a great base to explore. They were great with communication prior and easy to communicate via WhatsApp. We had a baby, there are stairs up to the room but quite wide and we had no issue carrying the pushchair up. The property was very kind and provided extra towels + made sure the heat was on for when we arrived."

"The location, the village. The scenic views to Bibbiena and mountains. The village is so nice, quiet and interesting. Still a restaurant there, small shop for grabbing a coffee, bier or some small snack. Really romantic and perfect location. Also great starting point if you like hiking etc. The accommodation was big, nice, meeting the old architecture with some modern renovation. Really nice. Bibbiena with all the facilities just 10 minutes by car."
