"We loved the location and the pool - the gardens were stunning and it has a really peaceful feel in a busy city. The staff were amazing and friendly - they were brilliant about our late check in and early check out and provided delicious food and cocktails. We were upgraded after our first night, free of charge, and both rooms were lovely!"

"Gorgeous house and grounds, huge comfortable bed, lovely staff and truly delicious food. So relaxing and yet luxurious.A great driver for the day around the National Park and we saw so much wildlife. The pool is stunning too. A safe neighbourhood. Cannot recommend this lodge too highly for a stay in Nairobi. Airport transfers were seamless."

"Absolutely loved it and was sad to leave. The staff was incredible and made us feel welcome and special every moment of every day. The quality of food and service was wondeful. Make use of their driver service which was very good value. The gardens are just stunning and there are little nooks everywhere. Would highly recommend."

"Staff is really friendly! Specially the people working in the restaurant, bar and the boy at the pool. They are always very willing to help and make your stay special. The place offers incredible views over the Mida creek. The swimming pool area is lovely, the garden is beautiful and well maintained. The food is great, there are plenty delicious options that were well prepared and presented. There is a boat transfer that is free to use between Lichthuis and the hotel, which is very convenient."
