"Standing on the balcony feels like being in a national park. The accommodation is simple but very private and has all one needs. The host was very kind and breakfast was delicious and varied every day. It's a short walk to the city center using the shortcut along the train tracks."

The host Gheeta went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, and even sorted a birthday cake out for my partners birthday with candles! Breakfast was great! Really lovely, all homemade and delivered to us on the balcony each morning!"

"Location of the guest house was absolutely stunning, every morning breakfast on the terrace does not matter the weather. 🚿 with the view. Lady owner very nice and when we took safari in the morning she made us included breakfast lunch time ! Wow and her breakfast are the best we had🍳🍳🍳🍳🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻"

"Absolutely stunning place and landlady was very friendly. I was warmly welcomed and offered a tea. Amazing view. Breakfast was delicious. You are connected with a nature and only hearing the birds. And famous Ella train which passed once. The place was well designed and compared to many other expensive hotel chains it was far beyond of them."

"Dump smell in the bathroom which carried into the sleeping room and because of the high humidity the bedsheets were all wet. So I was freezing during the night. Also despite of excellent design the shower is not practical, don’t expect to wash your hair if they happen to be long. As there is no separation glass between the shower and rest of the bathroom, the whole bathroom is splashed with a water and I couldn’t find anything to dry the floor. Location is in the nature but it’s impossible to reach it by car, only tuk tuk. However overall it was fantastic place for the night and the amount I paid I can’t complain. The lady was super friendly and that what all mattered."

"The shower was a bit upractical, since it splashed all across the bathroom. And - considering the fact that Sri Lanka and particularly Ella are high humidity areas - the acc. has a slight mould issue. Completely fine for a two days' stay, though."

Located in a quiet area but a short walk down the train tracks to Ella town, which is perfect! 10 out of 10 for everything, such a gem!"

"We really enjoyed our time at this guesthouse. It had everything we needed, and the view from the balcony was a highlight especially during the lovely breakfast in the morning. The value for money is excellent. Our room and bathroom were very clean and felt cozy and welcoming. The host was incredibly friendly and always happy to help with any questions we had. The location is perfect: just a short walk into town, yet it still feels peaceful and close to nature since it’s at the edge of the village. It’s also a great starting point for hiking to Ella Rock or exploring the train tracks. A really comfortable stay, we would happily come back!"
