"Nice room, with verandah & sitting area with table in front. Lovely quirky garden. Small fan moved some air. Good location very near rail station and the close by shops and eateries. Beside powerpoint. Generous breakfast serves. Optional breakfast provided at preferred times."

"The location of the house is perfect for reaching the station and catching the scenic train—we chose it specifically for this reason and couldn’t have been happier. The hosts are extremely kind and went out of their way to meet every request, making us feel truly welcome. The house itself is clean and very comfortable. We had an excellent stay—thank you!"

"We are a couple Irish and Australian backpacking around sri lanka. This is a cute little place and is run by a lady and her mother. Its got the soft touch and cuteness, can tell its looked after and ran by women. They are super lovely and her english is very good. Gave us lots of good advice and was also welcoming to us everytime we left and came home. They have a gate out front so just notify them if you plan on staying out late They also offer laundry service which came at a really good time for us."

"The wifi cut out every now and then but thats about it, you spend all your time out about in Ella so it didn't really bother us."

"The owner's father is nice and friendly. Help me throughout my whole trip in Ella. Make sure I get to the correct bus for next station."

"The water supply is toooooo slow, the light is dim if turn on heater. There is frog in the room but luckily the owner help to clean it. The room fan is dirty and small"

"Great location to reach the train station, Ellas restaurants/bars and to start hikes right from the accomodation all around! Very friendly and kind host family! Good breakfast and laundry service was reliable!"

"Great staying at the Tree Cool Resort! The rooms are superclean, and the owners made us feel super welcome. The place is about 5 minutes walking from the town and the train station. We would definitely recommend these rooms! Thank you for everything! We'll chose your place again if we come back to Ella!"

"The wifi didnt work while we were there, but it didnt work for us in the whole city, so I dont think it has anything to do with the property. But be aware to book further hotels before hand, in case you dont have wifi to do so."
