"Couldn't wish for a better place to stay when visiting beautiful Aluksne. The hosts have created their cosy home into a bed and breakfast. The house is located a short drive or some 15 minute walk from lake Aluksne, it has spacious, clean rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house has convenient parking and beautiful garden. The owners are the nicest and most welcoming people who help with great tips on what to experience in Aluksne, are nice to chat with and also give enough privacy. The bathrooms are shared but that did not bother us at all since the house is quite private anyways. I definitely recommend everyone to preorder breakfast at the house - for 8 EUR per person you will get the best, most delicious and abundant brunch possible. Thank you Sandra and Janis - we definitely hope to come back one day:)"

"Unsere Motorräder waren kein Problem. Der Gastgeber hat uns herzlich empfangen, Empfehlungen für die Erkundung der Umgebung und eine Empfehung für das Abendessen gegeben. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und mit lecker Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten."

"Everything was awesome! The host was kind and always responded quickly to our questions. The apartment was cozy and clean, so it truly felt like home. The location was also perfect, close to gyms, supermarkets, the university, and the bus station."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
