"Very friendly and helpful host, he even recommended the best places to go out for food. Rooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen had tea and coffee so didn’t have to buy any ourselves. Great location."

"We had a really nice stay but I was bothered by a persistent greasy frying smell all through the house. After airing it became better but then it returned. The steps leading to the apartment were very tricky, the stairwell could use more light. It was very slippery on the parking lot and the outside step (due to thaw after frost) and we would have appreciated some salt or sand to use. Then the apartment that is really so nice and big, but could do with much better lighting to make it feel more cosy. Some simple standing lamps here and there on the floor, some table lamps on tables would help a lot."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"
