Apartment was cleaned every other day.Bring a shower cap if you don't wash your hair every day,as there's only rain shower. Good transportation link to get around island,also walking distance to the promenade. All in all,happy with my stay."

"Our stay here was truly memorable thanks to the warm hospitality of the Boxman family. The apartment is a traditional Maltese semi basement, equipped with modern amenities. The hosts were thoughtful enough to provide extras like beach mats and towels, and their useful local tips made it easier to explore the area. The location couldn’t be better: just a few steps from the Isla bus terminus, a short walk to the Valletta ferry service stop, and also close to the small beach at the tip of Senglea."

"I liked the convenience of the lock box, Amanda the host was very informative and easily contactable when required. It was an easy walk into the main square of Xaghra, and the little convenience store 2 doors down was very handy. The bus stop was less than a 2 minute walk from the property which was also handy. The kitchen was well equipped, there was plenty of fans throughout the property. We enjoyed our time here, and would stay here again if available when travelling."

"Location has everything on your doorstep. Bars supermarket and restaurants. Apartment is good size and ideal for self catering. Host Jean sorted a couple of minor issues quickly and messaged detailed check in details. Excellent value would stay again."

"Village location, walking distance to Blue Grotto (25mins) or 10 mins on bus of which there are stops directly outside property, giving easy access to all parts of the island. Walking distance to Hagar Qim temple complex (20mins). Four or five grocery stores/ convenience stores in village, supply everything you need at reasonable prices. The room is comfortable with aircon and a small well equipped kitchenette. Bathroom with good shower and washing machine should you need it. Covered balcony to the front with countryside views. Host Maria easily contactable and replies quickly. Veneranda on site for any issues you may have and very friendly and informative, great local knowledge and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely return, thank you for a wonderful stay."

"We had stayed at Matthews other home last time when in the area and this time we have chosen this home! Glad we did so!! Located close to the square but you hardly hear a thing from the top floor. Home was clean comfortable and good water pressure in both showers. The outdoor hot tub was a big plus as we spent the evening using it seeing the town light-up slowly, slowly during the night. 10/10 Well done you will be seeing us again."

"Big, old but comfortable apartment with all necessary appliances. A very good base for exploring the center of Valletta and the Three Cities, close to bus stops, the ferry terminal, and the gondola pier in walking distance. We have found a free parking place 100m from the apartment too. A good choice for those who want to stay close to the center of Valletta while also having the possibility to quickly explore the entire island."
