"We had an amazing stay at this brand-new apartment! The area is still in development, but already offers a great location with everything you need close by. It’s just a 1.7 km walk to a lovely coffee bar, and there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket within easy reach. The surroundings are full of highlights too: the beautiful Morne hike is close, and several stunning public beaches are only a short drive away. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host. On the morning of our checkout, we had an accident with our rental car. Without us even asking, he immediately allowed us to stay an extra three hours so we could sort everything out, and he even came to the apartment to help translate between us, the rental company, and the other driver. His kindness, flexibility, and support made a huge difference. Highly recommend this place! Good value for money!"

"The appartement/studio is completely new and is situated in the north of La Gaulette. This is the perfect spot for a lot of advetures in the south of Mauritius. The appartement owner was available whenever we needed something. It was super clean, spacious, and we would definitely book again. The kitchen is fully equipped so its easy to cook yourself. Air conditioning is good."

"Ausstattung Küche ist sehr sparsam, keine Nachttischlampen, nur eine kleine Kleiderablage im Bad, keine Ablageflächen, nur Bartisch mit Hockern (wir haben uns den Terrassentisch mit Sesseln hereingeholt)"

"Very good location if you're interested in hiking or water sports- you'll want a car to get around. Decent kitchen with most things we needed. We had the studio, which was a little small for a week's stay but manageable- I'd go for the 1 bdrm if you're doing anything longer than a couple days. Bed was a little on the hard side but better than some we've had! Cleaners came a lot which was a little weird for an apartment, but it was definitely clean all the time. You'll want to bring your own shampoo, etc as they were not provided. AC was fine, it was very hot and humid outside when we were there and it mostly kept up. Good sized fridge which is appreciated."

"Water was lukewarm at best, even with water on full hot, so washing dishes was a chore and showers were chilly. Only had one pot and one pan (very small) so cooking was complicated- they did bring another larger pot so we were able to do everything in that. Hubby smelled gas under the sink after cooking- we reported it, hopefully that got checked. Door to the interior of the building is missing any weatherstripping so it rattles a bit whenever anyone enters or leaves and you can hear everything outside the door, so if you're a light sleeper you'll want earplugs. It's also right next to the washing machine for the building so a plus and a minus as people mistake your door for the laundry the first time they go and try to get in and you'll hear it running (but you'll know when it's not and don't have to keep checking to see if its available.)"
