"Amazing location — within walking distance of all the town’s attractions, yet still feeling secluded. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This is quite a large resort with a variety of room categories, so I can only speak about what we booked: Our house (Rowi) felt very private and was clearly separated from the other rooms. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable for the four of us. Having a bath in the bathtub overlooking the rainforest was unforgettable."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
