"Only one thing was negative: at the checkout we've been charged an amount that we didn't consume. To be precise we got charged 6 breakfasts more than the one we actually consumed. I had to discuss with the receptionist at the checkout and got part of the amount cancelled, but I had to pay anyway part of the extra, this was very disappointing. I felt "stolen", this shouldn't happen in such a Top level hotel."

"After almost two months travelling across Asia, we chose the W Muscat for four days of pure rest — and it was exactly what we needed. Having stayed at other W properties before, we knew what to expect in terms of style and standards, but this stay exceeded our expectations in terms of atmosphere and genuine hospitality. The service was consistently excellent. From the front desk to the restaurant teams, from housekeeping to the gardeners — everyone greets you, makes eye contact, and makes you feel truly seen. The hotel offers a wonderful variety of dining options. We joined the Iftar twice and appreciated the quality, generosity and authenticity of the experience. The food overall was outstanding. The calm environment, the attention to detail, the body care products, and the overall comfort allowed us to fully unwind after weeks of intense travel. Thank you for making us feel at home."

"Valeting the car became a bit confusing when we were trying to arrange bags bikes and kit. Given how rarely IRONMAN events are hosted in Muscat it wasn't a big deal but my partner got a little frustrated when a small miscommunication resulted in the staff not knowing where her car keys were. A very minor error but the staff fixed it very quickly"

"This is a really classy well thought out 5 star resort. By night the use of light is great and the resort looks brilliant. The breakfast at the W muscat was absolutely top draw , one of the best that I have had , highlights being that you place orders for eggs , omelettes and benedicts etc from your table and it was served to your table. The selection was vast and catered for all tastes. The cake selection was amazing and I always found room for a couple of these at the end. Pool area and general hotel was spotless and the staff around the property were very happy always said hello. Will defenitely be back."

"When we arrived our to our room the TV was not working and a staff member had to come and took him 10 mins to fix. Also the WIFI was not working well and I couldn't load the food and drinks menus in the room or around the pool. This was dissapointing for such a basic thing to not be working properly."

"We loved the whole pool area and in particular the cabanas with a seating area, a lounge area and a lying area. The restaurant/lounge on the 6th floor was fantastic and the food was great with an excellent view."

"It felt rather awkward to walk from the rooftop pool, in your swim clothes or towel through the lounge/restaurant to the lift. That lay-out has not been thought through very well. Maybe try to have some changing rooms near the pool."
