The ownere was very friendly and keen to share the history of the property...The location was idyllic, and the room we had was very comfortable. The swimming pool was a great place to relax after sightseeing. We found an excellent local restaurant close by for our evening meal, and enjoyed walking around the estate after that."

"Breakfast was great, good variety of drinks, homemade breads and cookies. The scenery with all the farm animals was nice and very relaxing. The pool was clean and a good size. The hosts were very friendly and were able to explain all the architectural details of the farmhouse which dates back to the 15th century."

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
