"The room was spacious and in a quiet location at the back of the hotel. However, the traffic along the road by the hotel entrance isn’t particularly loud in any case. There are some public off road parking spaces between the hotel and the main road and we were lucky enough to get one of them. Our room was spacious and pleasingly decorated. There was a built in wardrobe, substantial bedside tables and an easy chair. The balcony was quite large, but unfortunately had no furniture. The twin beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed spending some time at the large, well-lit bar with 2 TVs (quiet!). All staff were helpful and courteous. The breakfast was well set out, with good options."

"Our bathroom had a bit of a smell. An extractor fan may well have cured this, but there wasn’t one. Also, the grouting around the base of the toilet was in need of either a deep clean, or replacement. Otherwise, no problems with cleanliness."
