"The hotel has 3 advantages: free parking, location, and a view from the window at breakfast."
"The hotel doesn't live up to its 4-star rating. The breakfast is minimal, everything is outdated and in need of renovation (the tiles on the wall in our room were broken). There's no safe in the room, even though it was advertised. There's no kettle in the room.Dinner at the hotel is a waste of money."

"This hotel has a most lovely view if you have a river view room. The location is near to the train station, taxi rank and bus stop. The breakfast has a good choice and you can also get an evening meal here. The pool area is lovely and clean and there is a bar nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is also a snack bar attached to hotel which serves lovely food. We have used this hotel before and we will hopefully be back."
"There were some new younger staff which were unsure what they were doing. One was manning the bar who seemed to dissappear when you were waiting to be served at the bar. Another young one at the downstairs bar near pool did not seem to know what drinks we were requesting and was not helpful."

"This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip to Portugal. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a river view room which provided a spectacular view of the Duro. Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony The staff was very friendly and helpful Patricia and Rafela made great suggestions for touring Quintas and even made reservations for us at these places. Paulo gave great recommendations for dinner and was very helpful Parking was on the property and free. The breakfast had many choices and tables provided a view of the river We would definitely stay here again"
