"The room was great, with a view. The spa, heated rooftop pool (a bit cold in the winter) and bar were great. Laundry services were pricey but good. Good gym for a hotel. The location was exceptional, and the staff was super professional and courteous. The bathrobe, towels, and bed were fantastic. Great minibar Fantastic location. The breakfast is awesome, and I highly recommend getting their omelette from an omelette station. I didn't get to use the business centre/conference facilities here, but from what I've seen, they seem super impressive as well. Free wifi is super fast and nice. As always, use a VPN as they will be tracking your usage."

"The Norda restaurant was so underwhelming that it was sad. The lobster pasta was the most plain, boring, and quite frankly, poor dish I've had in the hotel restaurants so far. Definitely a strong skip recommended Vra had a fantastic wine menu and nice food, but I am not sure it's worth the price tag. If you are looking for an interesting menu -> I recommend Noot instead, which is a 2-minute walk away. I had the room with the view, and sadly, that was towards the trams, which in turn meant that I was waking up early to horrible screeching coming from outside. The hotel provided shower gel, shampoo, and other amenities (from rituals apparently) that smelled like an extremely cheap soda soap, clashing with the idea of luxury. I bought a week pass for the SPA, but only got to use it once, as it was always busy in the evenings, and that is when I could come after the conference. The bath in my room had dents and looked worn, which wasn't great but functionally fantastic."

"I had an issue with my first room, but Stella promptly switched me to a different room when they couldn't fix it - she was such a star! I ended up staying at a superior double room, which was lovely and very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great! I really enjoyed the gym and thought it had a nice selection of equipment - definitely the best equipped hotel gym I've ever been to. Breakfast was also fantastic: really good selection, staff really on top of everything (replenishing food and plates/mugs/cutlery, and the ladies at the omelette station were doing a superb job), and plenty of tables for everyone, even on the busiest days."

"The only thing I think could be improved is soundproofing between the rooms and between the room and the corridor. Most nights were really quiet, but when I had particularly loud people staying in neighbouring rooms, I could hear them very clearly."

"Central location and proximity to the train station and shops, restaurants etc. The rooms were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The temperature was good. Good to have a kettle. Bathroom was well appointed, clean and the shower was really nice Breakfast was fab!!! Loved the variety and the freshness. The range of fresh fruit was great. I also loved the on site hair dresser! The lights outside the hotel for Xmas were gorgeous and it felt very special."

"It was very hard to get an evening meal in house. Only three options on the bar menu, and that wasn’t available at all on my final night. Unable to go to the restaurant due to Xmas buffet and no al la carte options. Asian restaurant was impossible to get a booking."

"The hotel is huge, monumental but still cozy and welcoming. The room was small but perfectly formed with plenty of hidden cupboard space. We slept so well. Clean sheets, comfy mattress and soft pillows. Very quiet even though located a stones throw from the station. The bathroom was very clean. Great fresh unisex smell to the products, good for him & her. Booked the upstairs hot pool in the open air roof terrace. Freezing cold outside but toasty in the water. We were the only ones there so it felt quite luxurious. Panoramic views of Gothenburg. Breakfast was included in the price so it made for even greater value for money. Quiet and relaxed in the breakfast room, chefs cooking on view, fresh and healthy choices."
